This evening, a friend from back home in Canada came to visit. I estimated what time they would be arriving at Asagaya Station, and stood waiting outside the gates. Things went a little slower than expected, so I ended up standing there for an hour! But, it was all worth it when I finally saw them making their way through the exit.
By now, it was quite late in the evening, but we wandered around the nearby area looking for somewhere to have dinner. We settled on a place near the station, called Irohanihoheto. It was actually a great choice, because we got our own little booth and we were able to pull down the blinds, so it was like we were in our own private room.
I got chicken nanban, and they got the fish. Both were absolutely delicious.
